My 5 Favorite Hygiene Tools
I absolutely love the tools I have listed below. They are all sustainable changes I made in my hygiene routine and stand the test of time. I have owned all of these for at least two years and have shown me that they can last. These simple products elevate my self-care and they are also aesthetically pleasing on display in my bathroom.
Wildling Aura Sweeper - I have used several different types of body brushes since I added it to my routine over 10 years ago. This brush is crafted from olive wood and plant based agave fibers for the bristles. What I love most is the design of this brush. I love how it fits in my hand and the ease it allows me to sweep the brush on my body.
Labour and Wait Safety Razor - I made the switch to a safety razor about 4 years ago and I will never go back. I absolutely love it! It gives me the cleanest, smoothest, and best shave every time. The learning curve of using a safety razor is also not nearly as hard as I thought it would be when I was researching. The reason I love this particular brand is the handle size. The Labour and Wait razor has a shorter handle which gives me better control. I haven't found a comparable razor anywhere else.
Last Swab - This reusable q-tip is so satisfying. Way more than a cotton one. I also have some metal ones which I enjoy as well. I have one single last swab that I carry with me everywhere and then I also have a full little kit that I keep in my makeup bag. They are made of silicone and very easy to clean. Plus they leave my ears feeling clean.
Bare Hands Nail Care - I enjoy having my nails done, but I don’t love the way polish leaves them brittle and dry. Not to mention the chipping and toxins that can be found in the polish. This kit leaves my nails feeling healthy and shiny. I even bought the file for smoothing my heels and balm well. I also really like the smell of the oil for my cuticles.
Leaf Dermabladder - I discovered derma blading about two years ago, but did not enjoy they were made out of plastic. I did a simple search online to find the leaf. It is made from metal and has blades that you can trade out once they get dull. I purchased the silicone sleeve to keep it protected when not in use.
Are there any hygiene tools that you love? If so please share them below, I would love to know.
